About Gymkhana

Young girl riding a brown horse in a forested area.

Our Mission

Gymkhana is often called "games on horseback." These events are designed to demonstrate precision, agility, and the tight teamwork between horse and rider.  Many different speed and skill patterns are timed and challenge the horse and rider's ability, and the teamwork between horse and rider's ability to work together at speed, flying lead changes, sliding stops, tight turns, and more.

What is Gymkhana

Gymkhana is a series of timed games and speed pattern races. These events test the agility and control of the horse, as well as the rider's precision.  Common events include Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Keyhole Races, and Speed Barrels

Our History

Paradise Horsemen's Association began as a small group of like-minded individuals who wanted to make a positive impact in their community. Since then, we have grown into a thriving organization.  Riders of all ages

Our Purpose

At PHA, we aim to provide a gymkhana program where every level of rider of any age can participate in a safe, encouraging, and friendly environment.  We have different age and skill divisions that cater to beginner riders and to the most advanced riders.  We have a non-competitive lead-line division for the little ones as well. We strive to make our program affordable for everyone
